When is The Wolf Among Us Remastered coming out?
PM Studios and Steam list October 29, 2026. At our October 15 check, the UK PlayStation concept page showed October 2026 without a day. Exact unlock times, preloads and early access have not been verified. Use your own regional storefront for the purchase and unlock details.
Which platforms are listed for the remaster?
PM Studios lists PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Our platform guide distinguishes publisher-listed support from the individual storefront pages checked. A platform announcement does not establish a console frame rate, a free upgrade or save transfer from an older version.
Is this The Wolf Among Us 2?
No. The remaster revisits Bigby’s original five-episode investigation. Steam advertises enhanced presentation, switchable black-and-white Noir Mode and archival extras. Those features do not establish new episodes or a rewritten ending, and the remaster date is not a sequel release announcement.
What is the correct episode order?
Play Faith, Smoke and Mirrors, A Crooked Mile, In Sheep’s Clothing and Cry Wolf. The official remaster feature list includes the complete five-episode story. Our walkthrough pages follow that order and label their episode spoilers; reading a later route can reveal earlier events.
Are these walkthroughs tested in the remaster?
The episode routes document the released original game. They explain narrative progression, evidence and important decisions, but are not exhaustive collectible checklists. Remaster-specific prompts, checkpoints, saves and trophy triggers remain unverified. Use the symbols shown by your own platform when an older guide describes different buttons.
Does the original trophy guide confirm the remaster list?
No. It explains the original chapter-completion awards and the Book of Fables Librarian awards. The remaster achievement list, old-save import, trophy transfer and chapter-replay behavior must be checked independently before planning a completion run. We do not give an untested remaster platinum time or minimum playthrough count.
Do I need to read Fables before playing?
No. The original game is set before the comic series and introduces its community through Bigby’s investigation. Our character primer explains Fabletown, glamours and the Farm without identifying the culprit. The ending analysis contains much later spoilers and is best saved until the season is finished.
Is this an official Telltale website?
